What to Expect

We know that visiting a church for the first time can feel a bit intimidating. Here’s what to know about your first experience with us. Please click HERE for directions.

Our Gathering

Our service begins at 10:30am. We’ll sing several songs and will be led in times of prayer. Our songs are a mix of hymns and songs of our day. Next, the Scripture is preached for 30-40 minutes. Then we close with a couple more songs.

Dress Comfortably

Jesus wore the common clothing of his day; feel free to wear what is comfortable for you.

Skeptics Welcome

City Bible Church is a safe place for skeptics and those reconnecting with Jesus. We welcome doubts and objections. Please: Ask questions, and be honest with your struggles.

Becoming Known

A church is not a place but a people. A group of people who gather because Jesus has made them His family and family to one another. We want to get to know you, but if you prefer to simply come and listen until you feel more comfortable — ahla wa sahla, we welcome you!

Kids

We offer Sunday school classes for kids ages 3-8. If you prefer, you’re welcome to keep your child with you during the service. We all begin in the main room for worship and prayer, and then before the sermon the kids are dismissed to their room.

Babies

We want you to feel comfortable, and get the most out of your time at CBC. So, if you’d like to keep your infant with you, you may do so during the main service. If your baby needs some extra attention, there is a parent’s room available downstairs where you can still listen to the sermon.
